Why you need ELD
Technology for safety and compliance

US Congress passed the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century bill. This bill requires the use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).

ELD is used to electronically record a driver’s Record of Duty Status (RODS). This replaces the paper logbook some drivers use to record their Hours of Service (HOS) reports.

Motor carriers and drivers have until Dec 18, 2017 to implement certified ELDs to record HOS, or risk fines and penalties. For those still equipped with an AORBD must be replaced by Dec 16, 2019.

Sign-up for 1ELD now and make sure you’re compliant ASAP.
